  9.     Mail is now flowing smoothly to the satellite. No one has 
  10. reported problems with unpacking and tossing the mail packets.

  12.     I extend a cordial invitation to all who are receiving
  13. IGA_Net mail to join the network and participate with us. All you
  14. need to do is complete a membership application and forward it to  
  15. 1:274/30 or 1:147/109.

  17.     Membership in IGA_Net and the presence of IGA_Net echoes on 
  18. your board is sure to bring an ever-increasing number of serious
  19. users to your board. The net is populated with a large group of 
  20. friendly and  helpful genealogy researchers.

  28. Instructions for tossing mail
  29. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  30.     1. Set two fake AKA's in your tosser configuration file:
  31.             440:1/1000  and
  32.               1:274/1000
  33.        The packets you receive from the satellite will be
  34.        addressed to these two addresses.
  35.     2. Establish the echoes listed in ECHOES.IGA in your BBS
  36.        Make sure you have the proper zone/net/node number in
  37.        the origin line of each echo.
  38.     3. Set your "SEEN-BY" checker to "ON" in your tosser
  39.        on that line put your addresses;
  40.        a. 440:130/???? for IGA_Net echoes (listed in ECHOES.IGA)
  41.        b. 1:????/???? for non-net-specific echoes (ECHOES.IGA)
  42.     4. Set "CONNECTION" line in your checker to:
  43.        a. 440:130/1 for IGA_Net echoes (listed in ECHOES.IGA)
  44.        b. 1:147/109 for non-net-specific echoes (ECHOES.IGA)
  45.     5. PKUNZIP the IGAMAIL.ZIP file
  46.     6. Read the documentation
  47.     7. Toss the mail packets. The mail packets are security-
  48.        passworded and must be unpacked using the current
  49.        password: PKUNZIP *.<ext> /s<password>
  50.     8. Any mail generated on your BBS (persons with a zone
  51.        440: membership only) should be forwarded via
  52.        *modem* direct to 440:130/1.
  53.  
  54. If your tosser will not allow you to do the above, please contact
  55. 1:274/30 or 1:147/109 for a copy of GECHO.... which does.
  56.  
  57. Please report any and all difficulties to: 1:147/109 (or 440:130/1),
  58. via direct crash netmail, as quickly as possible.
